§ 11-192. Appeal to city commission when driver's permit revoked or suspended by city clerk.

  • Any person denied a driver's permit by the chief of police or having his driver's permit revoked, cancelled or suspended by the city clerk may, within five days after the denial, revocation, cancellation or suspension thereof, file with the city clerk his petition to the city commission, requesting a review of such order, and it shall be the duty of the city commission to hear the same at their next meeting after the petition is filed or at an adjourned meeting or meetings called for such purpose. The city commission shall make such order in the premises as right and justice may require, and such decision shall be final.
